AI Creative

Despite the apprehension about AI in the creative field, I choose to see it as a tool to enhance our work, find efficiencies and help us focus our creative brains are larger, strategic problems that AI could never solve. I wholeheartedly agreed with how Figma’s CEO Dylan Field’s put it “AI will enable anyone to get to a good first draft, BUT a good first draft is not a world class product”. I am excited and energized about the possibilities that AI can bring to enhance and enrich our creative directions.

Here are some examples of how I’ve found uses for AI in my work.

BLOG HEADERS

Using Midjourney, I've been able to speed up the production of some blog imagery by quickly generating interesting and unique images that are tied to the article's subject matter.

STOCK IMAGERY

Using Adobe Stock's built-in AI generator for photography, I've used it to create images of people that are unique and ownable to our brand. With prompts, you can specify many parameters, and in this way ensure you achieve the representation of your audience as well as insert certain colour schemes that also match your brand and tie all of your images together cohesively.

PERSONAL PROJECT: CHARACTER ART

I've also dabbled in using AI to create character art for role playing games.
